RJ, when your fishing pike deep (25+)keep your bait up,3'-6'off the bottom mabey even more, depending on the amount of traffic on the ice. When your fishing them off A break line (10'-20')keep your bait within 3' of the bottom, but dont restrict your bait with too heavy of A weight, let your minnow swim, he need's to look natural, not like he's got A 3lb weight on his back,good luck mac!
