As of 2-6-02 ice conditions are 12-14 inches of ice in the upper bay.The lower bay has poor conditions.Fishing-fair(vehicles are driving on the upper bay)

There is about 5 to 6 inches of ice right now. There is a pressure crack just past Butlers Island. Yesterday, a man fell though and another man went though today trying to cross the pressure crack(they both made it out). I have been told that the ice around the island is thin. There are 4-wheelers and snowmobiles driving out there but no cars.

Driving has been excellant on the little bay has of
02/19/01
Ice is 12-17 inches and even car travel
Although the fishing hasn't been too good!
